JEE Application Form 2021 – The application form for the JEE examination is released by the respective authorities conducting the examination. Online application form for JEE Main examination is made available for the first session of 2021. Candidates who are willing to apply for JEE Main 2021 are to visit the official website of NTA that is jeemain.nta.nic.in. It must be very clear that only these candidates who have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects are eligible to apply for the examination.
The online application for the JEE Advanced examination is issued y the IIT conducting the examination for the year on its official website itself. All such candidates who fulfill the eligibility norms are to apply for the examination through online mode only. Further, an application fee amount depending upon the category a student belongs to is to be paid using the mode applicable only after which the form will be considered by the authorities. JEE Application Form 2021 – Major Changes
There are some changes that have been introduced in the JEE main sessions and therefore in the application procedure as well. Here are the major changes that have been introduced by NTA in JEE Main examination and application process:
- Candidates can apply for 1 session or more than one session in the JEE Main Feb application form.
- If a candidate applies for more than 1 session, then they need to pay an application fee for both / all the sessions.
- If a candidate only applies for the Feb session this time, then they will get a chance to apply in the March / April / May session in the future.
- Candidates who apply for more than 1 session can change their choice for the exam center in the correction window, if needed.
- JEE Main 2021 form for the next session shall open right after the announcement of the result.
- Application fee once paid shall not be refunded. However, this time, NTA is allowing candidates to take it forward to another session of JEE Main 2021.
- NTA is not at all going to accept multiple applications.
- The confirmation page shall be generated after the fee payment. However, if it is not generated and the fee is paid then approach the bank/payment gateway.
JEE Application Form 2021 – Dates
This year the JEE Main examination is to be conducted in four sessions as decided by the exam conducting authority and ministry of India. The schedule for the very first session and examination dates for all four sessions are provided in the table below. Also, on each day of the examination, there are two shifts in which the JEE Main examination will be conducted, the first shift of examination is from 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM while the second shift of examination is to begin from 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM.
Further, the JEE Advanced examination is to be conducted in the month of May 2021 dates for the same is not yet decided by the IIT conducting the examination. The tentative schedule for the examination is provided in the table further below for the ease of candidates.

JEE Application Form 2021 – Documents Required
Every candidate willing to take the JEE examination need to submit the required documents as proof along with their JEE Application Form. These documents are proof and therefore are mandatory to be submitted along, make sure to get soft copies of these required documents before starting to fill the JEE Application form. Steps To Fill JEE Application Form 2021
In order to apply for any of the JEE examination, a candidate must be eligible as per the laid out criteria. Further, it is important to register for the examination, and only after the registration is done successfully candidates can fill the JEE Application Form successfully. Step 1 – Visit the official website of NTA or the Respective IIT conducting the JEE Advanced examination.

JEE Application Form 2021 – Correction Window
The candidates applying for JEE Main examination must also be known that NTA will provide the application correction window for students who by mistake have entered any wrong details while submitting the JEE Main application form. This application for a correction facility will be provided for a short period of time and only some of the details can be edited again. The list of details that can be edited at the time of application correction is provided below.
- Personal Details: Spelling mistakes in name, parent’s name etc can be corrected.
- Academic Details: School details, year of passing, qualifying exam can be corrected in this section.
- Change of Paper: The choice of paper from Paper 1 to Paper 2 as well as from Paper 2 to Paper 1. If candidates have applied for one paper and wish to apply for both papers they can do so on payment of the balance fee.
- Exam Centres: Candidates will also be able to change their choice of exam centers.
- Language of Examination: The language can be changed from English to Hindi/Gujarati and vice versa.
- Name, State of Eligibility, and Date of Birth can also be corrected by candidates
- Category: Candidates can also change their category. If the candidates change their category from general to reserved, then fees will not be refunded. If candidates change their category from reserved to general, they will have to pay the balance fee.

Q.1 Is it mandatory to upload Category certificates during JEE Main Registration 2021?
Ans. Yes, Gen-EWS/SC/ ST/OBC(NCL)/ PwD candidates have to upload their certificates as per prescribed formats issued by the competent authority. In case, any candidate does not have the certificate, for now, he/she can upload the self undertaking but he/she will have to upload the requisite certificate before the end of May 2021.
