The current edition is based on the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanita, 2023, which replaced the Indian Penal Code, 1860. This book meticulously explains the new provisions introduced by the Nyaya Sanhita and highlights the changes introduced in the provisions of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. It further ensures that the spirit and essence of the original work are maintained, preserving its relevance and applicability to both the Code and the Nyaya Sanhita.
